Academic press books free online

The National Academy Press is providing free full-text access to its catalog. Select any title from NAP's catalog and scroll down until you see the title's table of contents. Select a chapter or use the "Search This Book" feature. NAP hopes the free online access will increase its printed books sales.

NAP was created by the National Academies to publish the reports issued by the National Academy of Sciences, the National Academy of Engineering, the Institute of Medicine, and the National Research Council, all operating under a charter granted by the Congress of the United States. The NAP publishes on a wide range of topics in science, engineering, and health.
